Scene 1 Gobbits

Camera comes through the door round the corner and into the living room ending up on a close up of Hildo Haggins.

Hildo

Hildo (Closing his book) finally I’ve finished it to and fro a gobbits by Hildo Haggins now were did I put my pen lid…

Jodo

(Walking through the living room door as Hildo bangs his head on the coffee table) Hildo! Are you ok!

Hildo

(Standing up) yes yes Jodo I was looking for my pen lid I’ve finished my pen lid; ah here it is, it was on the end of my pen.

Jodo

(Taking hold of Hildo) are you sure your ok that’s a nasty bump you had,

Hildo

(shaking him off) yes now help me tidy up Landulf will be here soon.
(A bell rings Hildo looks up a worrie look on his face Jodo looks at Hildo then at the direction of the door)

Hildo

(Tidying himself up and walking towards the door) well that’s him best answer it.

(opening the door to a tall bearded man) Landulf!

Landudlf

Hildo my old friend, how has it been with you lately?

Hildo

Oh it’s been splendid Landulf but were have you been for 17 years?

Landulf

Oh out and about… Jodo!

Jodo

Landulf! Were have you been I haven’t seen you since I was 12

Hildo

That is why Hildo you must leave for Livendell where the melves will take care of you.

Jodo

(Jodo leaves upstairs leaving Lanndulf and Hildo alone)

(Cut to flashback of Jollum crouching on a chair with the badge in his hand)

Landulf

Hildo

Landulf

(Coming down stairs) here they are uncle.

Yes I left it on the mantle piece (standing up) well fare well to you both (hildo opens the door and leaves Jodo close the door behind him, Landulf goes into the living room, picks up the badge and throws it's in the fire)

Landulf

Look (picking up the badge from the hearth) it is not burnt.

Jodo

No it isn't (Taking the badge from him)… what must I do? (Landulf stands up and follows Jodo into the next room)

Landulf

The badge must be sewn into the cotton abyss of mt.scout only there can it be destroyed. But you will not be going alone. (Landulf opens the door and samfalls in)

Sam you will go with Jodo to bordor to destroy the badge.

Sam

Landulf

Good now to bree I will meet you at the inn of the prancing pony I have business to attend to fare well (Landulf leaves leaveing Sam and Jodo alone canera slowly zooms out nd fades into black)

Flash back scene

Jollum crouches on a chair in scout hall rocking back and forth

Jollum: my precious

Hildo: HELLO HELLO ANYONE

(Jollum looks up and drops the badge it rolls into the next room where)

Jollum: THIEF, A THIEF IN THE NIGHT HE STOLES OUR PRECIOUS

(Hildo picks up the badge puts it in his pocket and runs thus ends the flashback).
